Maxine Machado Anderson RAD RTS is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and has recently relocated to Scotland from her hometown of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Having danced multiple styles from a young age, Maxine gained a place at the prestigious Urdang Academy in London, where she was delighted to graduate with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.
Maxine has performed professionally in London alongside The Wanted, on Strictly Come Dancing, Britain’s Got Talent and the X Factor. In Dubai, her credits include High School Musical for which she was Dance Captain, multiple Dubai International Dance Festivals, the Dubai World Cup, Short+Sweet theatre festivals, an immersive production of Romeo and Juliet for #ShakespeareLives and most notably playing the leading role of Roxane in Cyrano de Bergerac, directed by James Gaddas (of Bad Girls, Doctors, Coronation Street and Emmerdale).
Furthering her passion for ballet and continued learning, Maxine qualified in all levels of the American Ballet Theatre’s cutting edge National Training Curriculum and is a Silver Swans Licensee. She has enjoyed teaching, choreographing and submitting pupils for RAD examinations for a number of years, most recently including Nairn and Inverness.
Maxine has always loved travelling and being a citizen of the world for most of her life, so it is only fitting that she opens the doors of Mind Ballet Soul globally. Stay tuned, though, as she has ideas coming out of her ears for the future of MBS both locally and online.
Niall Anderson is a graduate of SAE Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University where he studied Sound Engineering and gained a Bachelor of Science in Audio Technology.
Raised in the Highlands he has been passionate about music since his early teens and in his university days performed shows all over the UK whilst working with Glasgow college record label, Electric Honey. His social nature led him into the hospitality management industry, where he works full time, but do not be surprised if you find Niall, in his element, front of house at MBS too.
More recently, Niall has also worked on audio projects for the Dubai-based school, Dance Horizons as well as providing live sound for a number of local schools here in Scotland. His in-house work for MBS Audio will provide a bespoke soundtrack for our Signature classes, making them truly unique to our clientele. Niall is also responsible for many of the images captured on our social media!
