By partaking in any Mind Ballet Soul class you, the client, parent/ legal guardian are hereby agreeing to the following:
That you or your child are voluntarily participating in physical activity and waive any claim of any kind whatsoever against Mind Ballet Soul with respect to any and all losses, liabilities and damages, death or injury, suffered or incurred whilst undertaking any teaching program or attending any of the venues at which the studio operates.
Photographs of participants may be taken during dance classes or performances and used for promotional purposes including but not limited to website and brochures, unless previously stipulated otherwise.
COVID-19 specifics:
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organisation. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, governments recommend social distancing and advise hand-hygiene and use of face coverings.
Mind Ballet Soul's Boutique Studio has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, however, cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. By attending this venue, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that your child(ren) and/ or yourself may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19.
- Please note that in line with the area's current Level 1 status on Scotland's tiered system, participants will not be able to access restrooms and changing facilities at this time. You will be advised if these rules are updated.
- Private bookings are secured upon payment and may be amended or cancelled up to 24 hours in advance with no charge. Please do not attend the facility if you present with any coronavirus symptoms.
Online class specifics:
- A parent/ legal guardian of minors under the age of 16 must be present in the establishment when the student is participating in a class.
- A minimum of 2mSq floor space and 2m clearance from floor to ceiling is required per student in the room where they are taking class.
- A maximum of two participants may take class in a single room which must be clear of breakable materials that could cause injury.
- Mind Ballet Soul strongly recommends that the Zoom application is set up on a screen large enough for the attendee to properly see the instructor.
- Clients must inform the instructor of any physical injuries or health conditions prior to commencing a programme so they may be offered modifications.
- Participants must understand their own fitness levels and cease immediately if they are unable to follow the instructor, until they are able to ask for further guidance.
- Attendees may cancel or amend bookings up to 24 hours in advance with no charge. Cancellations or amendments made within 24 hours may incur the full cost of class.
- Mind Ballet Soul reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule classes and offer credit towards an alternative class.
- Participants will be admitted to virtual classes from two minutes before the start time and are advised to be ready. Mind Ballet Soul will however observe a five minute late window after which no one will be admitted for their own health and safety.
- Parents/legal guardians are responsible for students under the age of 18 logging in under their own names as Mind Ballet Soul reserves the right to deny admission to parties that are unknown to us.
